The farm called La Nogalera, is a farm with agricultural origin, linked to the Beltrán family since 1866, which began as an irrigated orchard and fruit trees, with an important traditional system of cultivation in terraces / tables for the use of sloping land. In addition to the traditional table system, the old irrigation system is still maintained, through the canal that comes from the Guadalevín River. This canal is divided into branches that are used for flood irrigation of the different tables. The main ditch and the secondary branches have a system known as "lazy waters" that correspond to pylons in which the water stagnates for later use, these "lazy" were used in the past for washing vegetables and collect fruits, to sell them in the Ronda food market.
