Lunares is a young family-run winary that began its path in 2003. The essence of Ronda´s soil can be taste throught its wines. It yields outstanding quality producction of intense ,long and persitent wines.

Bodega Lunares was born in Ronda out of the interest and concern of a local family ( Morales León).This family was enthusiastic about the the fascinating world of wine and in 2003 they purchased a plot of 4 hectares and decided that they wanted to plant a vineyard. This plot was named “Finca Lunares” and hence the name of the winery.

Ronda had always been a land of wines, but phylloxera destroyed them all in the late 19th century and early 20th century. It was not until the eighties that its cultivation was taken up again.

The visits consist of a guided tour to the wineyards, the winery and its facilities with details explanations and includes tasting 4 wines accompanied by typical quality products of the area.
